QOF Disease Prevalence Coding Support
Our Clinical Pharmacists are now able to offer coding support across a number of QOF domains
This award recognises educational resources that have provided an innovative approach to assisting the development of education in healthcare during 2016. The General Practice Awards, hosted by Dr Phil Hammond, will be held in London on November 24th 2016.
Interface’s QOF Enhancement Service works with primary care practices to improve both patient care and their QOF outcomes. The service consists of a health check, a QOF enhancement report, a clinical pharmacist consultancy day, and a revalidation service all aimed at improving clinical outcomes, prevalence and practice revenue.
The service provides educational support to all members of the practice team to encourage excellent ongoing patient care, and efficient coding practices going forward. Increasing demand from primary care practices for the QOF Enhancement Service has recently prompted Interface to launch their new Refresh Service which allows practices to continue the service year on year, with the addition of an ongoing benchmark system and additional pharmacist time.
Mike Drakard, Managing Director of Interface Clinical Services, commented, “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. GP practices around the UK have benefitted from our QOF Enhancement Service and the ongoing education that it provides for all members of the practice team, which means that patients are receiving better care.”
